SPECIAL EDITION
Tuesday 11th September  2001
Sincere Condolences

The management and staff of Xerostar Holdings extends their deepest sympathy and condolences to our dear friends, the people of the United States of America in their terrible time of grief.

I am sure that our readers all share in the sorrow for the thousands of innocent lives lost.

This special edition contains copies of many email messages  received by us during the 48 hours following the ghastly attack on New York and Washington.
Thanks to those concerned for their kind words.

Words can not describe the unfolding horror that we all saw on television. An attack on The United States is an attack on the whole civilized world. Our world.

I know that decent people from every country in the world feel sympathy for you and your countrymen at this tragic time and to the many other nations that lost their citizens and loved ones.

The evil of these terrorists and their disrespect for human life is beyond belief.

The world will never be the same, but we will get through it together and be stronger than ever.

We depend on the USA as our protectors.
Surely they represent the major force of  justice, peace and freedom in our world and we know them as a source of goodness, wisdom and excellence.

I was glad to hear that the US and all it's allies have strengthened their alliance and agreed to jointly march together and eliminate the horrible scourge of terrorism from the Earth.

Long live the USA, Democracy and Freedom!

Letters of Condolence from  around the World
I don't usually send this type of email to you,
but this is something I believe in. I wanted to
get this out to subscribers on our list who
can make a difference.

Of course, I don't have to mention what's happened
in NY and Washington. I've been a private supporter
and blood donor to the American Red Cross. I think
they're a world-class organization.

Right now, the Red Cross headquarters in Washington know they are going to need massive amounts of blood.

Please go to your local blood banks and/or hospitals and make a blood donation.

Or you may call 1-800-GIVE LIFE

Please help in any way you can - contact your own chapters of the Red Cross as well and see if you can help there as well.

All the best to you and yours,

Yanik Silver

A day of terror in The United States!

My heart and prayers go out to the victims and families of the World Trade Center disaster in New York and the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.

What a senseless and inhuman act.  I am stunned and shocked that anyone, whether alone or as a group, could have no conscious.  That life means so very little.

No political issue could ever be a reason for this
cowardly attach on innocent men, women, children and their families.

Please, Please, Please, if you have a prayer in your heart, let it go out to the victims and their families.

My heart sincerely hurts.

During this tragic time, I would like to remind everyone who lives in the United States at this time to please consider donating blood to the red cross. With all that has happened today, they are going to need as much blood as they can get. Also your prayers are desperate needed for the loved ones of those who were in one way or another affected from this tragedy.

Thank you for your time!

Due to our national emergency regarding the horrendous attack on the US, I feel it would be in bad taste to publish today. The special article mailing that was due to go out today will probably be sent out tomorrow.

My thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this tragic event. God bless us all.
Peace,

It is our sincere hope that your friends and families are safe. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Your friends at Freecash-Lotto.Com, LLC.

Vector Central wants to express our prayers and sympathy to the victims and families in the attack upon the United States in New York City, Washington, D.C. and Pittsburgh as well as families of the hijacked plane victims.
It is the purpose of terrorists to promote fear and disruption and as the Bible says through the words of Jesus: "The thief comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy..." John 10:10. It is obvious that the thief and murderer of mankind has attacked the very heart of our Nation. It is important that prayer for Godly wisdom for our leaders be offered up, as well as cries for the sadness of those lost.

With prayerful vigilance,

What happened today was an act of pure evil. I would give my own life to cut the throat of the man responsible for this if I could, without hesitation.
Being an ex Paratrooper working with Marine Special Forces, I'll be taking the next couple days off because I need to escape somewhere, anywhere to cool off.

There are things about our government I do not like. I'm sure there are things you don't like about our government. But there are ways to deal with problems other than blowing up 10,000 or more people.

There's nothing worse in the world than what happened today. No punishment, even death is good enough for this person who orchestrated this. If you have any thoughts, please post them on the board. I apologize, but I'm way too upset to get into a discussion about this. I'm sure the people affected by this are even more upset than I am.

If you're on my list and from New York or anywhere else and have friends or family that have been  affected by this tragedy, my heart goes out to you  and your family.

Today America took a terrible hit and has paid a dear price. And it paid that price because of our beliefs. Our beliefs in freedom and democracy have been challenged unlike any time since the attack upon Pearl Harbor, over 50 years ago.

What happened today was shocking. Words alone cannot sufficiently express the sorrow that we feel for the deaths of those innocent people and for the loss of loved ones by their families. Our hearts, our thoughts and most especially our prayers go out to all those that have suffered as result of these acts of cowardice.

Despite the tragedy, or maybe because of it, America and her people will find a new sense of solidarity against the evilness that caused these despicable acts. And if any country is found responsible for these attacks, or if any country is found harboring those responsible for these deeds of destruction, then I support that country's complete destruction and annihilation by the United States of America.

If the deaths of those innocent people cause international terrorism to be finally wiped from the face of this earth, then their deaths will not have been in vain.

May God bless our President, our leaders and the American people for the decisions we must now make.

I am sure you, like Karen and I are in a state of bewilderment, shock and disbelief of today's tragic events.

Out of respect we will not be sending out any publications, solo ads or taking any new orders until Monday the 17th of September, we do not feel this is the right time to do business.

For those of you who are closer to this tragedy than we are, please accept our sincerest sympathy and condolences.

Please join with us and pray for the innocent victims who have lost their lives and for the families who are left behind trying to come to terms with their loss in this act of callous total disregard of human life!

Also pray for the people who are injured and for the families who are waiting for news about their husbands, wives, children and relatives.

How such evil exists is beyond comprehension.

We are so sorry for everyone who lives in America
we can only hope to be able to understand how you
feel and the effect this catastrophe will have on your lives and the lives of your children in the future.

Our thoughts are with you all,

I just can't let this day go by without extending my sympathy to any and all who have been affected by the events of today, especially those who live in or have friends and relatives in New York, Washington, D.C. and Pennsylvania. It is inconceivable that such people exist and would do such as was done today. My prayers are that we all will be able to bond together to bring peace and unity to the world and to put a stop to this terrorist activity.

Bless you all.

My wishes and thoughts are with all my American friends today.

It's 2pm in Australia. Like many people around the world we've been watching, with dulled hearts, the coverage by CNN and computer news wires since the terrible terrorist attacks.

Although we're a long way from the USA in miles, we share your anguish. My family are all shocked at the scenes we've witnessed.
A tragedy like this affects people everywhere.

I've been working since last night in the newsroom, talking to friends and colleagues in Washington and New York. I've spoken with a  friend in Manhattan who described the fear and heartbreak. But the scene he described was already imprinted on my mind by the media coverage I'd been watching through the night.

Not long ago reports came in that as many as 200 firemen, trying to rescue possible survivors have been killed when the buildings collapsed around them. Hardened firemen in my Australian town are devastated, their eyes filled with tears.

Such atrocities, truly affects us all, no matter where we live. This whole town of 60,000 people is quiet as everyone watches CNN.  Our hearts are with you. And especially with anyone with family and friends missing in the terrorist devastation.

It wasn't until 9.30 pm UK time, that I learnt about the horrors of yesterdays suicide missions. My problems although not solved instantly took backstage at the disbelief of this madness.

My heart goes out to every decent living human being in the world, who could not help to be moved by the sheer scale of this tragedy and loss of life, and in particular to our American friends, you do not stand alone.

Like many other eZine owners I took the decision that whatever I wrote would not be enough, so I am canceling all issues of Daily Classifieds, until the Sunday edition.

I am not a religious man, but my thoughts are with everyone who has been touched by this tragedy, from the victims and their families down to the guy in the street that had to watch this carnage on television. May your god give you strength in you hour of need.

Best wishes

You recently received my Bits 'n' Bites eZine which was sent during the time the terrorist attack on New York and
Washington unfolded. It was an unfortunate coincidence and at the time I sent it out I did not know of the tragic
events. I realise that sending the eZine out at that time
might seem uncaring. It was not, I simply did not know until later.

I have visited the US on several occasions, I have many
friends there and have grown to love the country. My deepest sympathies are with all the people of the USA, especially those personally involved. Here in the UK we are all deeply shocked and concerned.

Kind regards,

John Coutts.

A Time of Sorrow

I'm still having trouble getting my mind around the enormity of the awful events that occurred yesterday.

Suffice it to say that my prayers and love go out to the friends and families of all the innocent victims. They must be going through hell.

King David said, "I lift my eyes to the hills -- where does my help come from?  My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth" (Psalm 121:1).

God will see us through this.

Charlie
all-about-life@yahoogroups.com

I want to express my deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers to anyone affected by the utter tragedy that occurred yesterday.

Words are not enough to convey my feelings of sadness and despair at so many lost... hopefully, the healing can start soon for the survivors and families of the victims.

Here in Canada, we watched in utter disbelief what was
happening in New York, Washington, and elsewhere... I am still in shock myself and I find it difficult to accept.  What I am certain of is that Canadians, such as myself, are supportive of Americans 100% in this tragedy.  Since I feel so helpless up here in Northern BC (near Alaska) I decided to dedicate a page of my eBooks N' Bytes site to help people to find emergency numbers, websites, and ideas to help others in their time of need at:
http://www.ebooksnbytes.com/terrorist_attack.html

Blessings to all of you,

These are sad days for America and the world for many lives have been affected by the terrible tragedy yesterday.

Pray for all the victims and their families in their time of need. It is horrible to see the senseless violence taking place in our streets to our families, friends and children.

Take your loved ones and hold them tight for you never know when it will be your last chance to do so.

Tips n Tricks will not be published this week instead I will be saying my prayers in church tonight for all the lost souls, the ones still living and the ones that are not.

Dear fellow Editors and Readers around the World,

I feel I should let you know that I will be back on track soon. I thank the people of the world for your beautiful words The horror of yesterday's (9-11-01) barbaric attack on our Country's people swirls in my mind's eye and fills me with mixed thoughts like:

In America today there are those that -

*Are praying in their churches, homes, everywhere
*Realize that this is an unprecedented act of terrorism.
*Digging our fellow countrymen and woman out of the rubble.
*Are devastated and can't yet function as normal.
*Are making funeral plans for their loved ones.
*Pulled themselves up and went to work, school, play.
*Put it all in the hands of our Lord.
*Are discussing revenge on our enemy.
*Don't care about what happened (yes, I know some)
*Are scheming with self-serving political agendas.
*Hating anyone that looks like an Arab.
*Celebrating their comrades success (yes, folks, they're here)

The USA is strong and we will bounce back stronger than ever, however, this will change the way we live! The way we fly about the country and world. The enemy is among us. The enemy takes all forms. Some discern, some can not. After yesterday, how can one go back to taking about trivialities and mundane problems. I could
list them for you but this isn't the time...

Good and evil. That's all there is. Two Forces, and...
everything in between is a degree of that good and evil.
Where do you and I fit in this equation? How good are we? How bad? By who's standards? By what law?

What to do about these Barbarians? These people who are sub-human with animalistic characters. They are however, strategic and well funded. They have a god.
They were here yesterday!

They have no soul, it's lost to evil. They are possessed by the doing of evil.
They do not know or understand our good.
They die thinking they will go to a better life. They've been trained since birth.
They killed our brothers and sisters yesterday. And themselves. They lived among us...

Americans are not prepared for this kind of warfare. We have been exposed to shocking, horrific, events to a lesser degree -Pearl Harbor, President Kennedy's murder, Oklahoma, Waco, Ruby Ridge, many more.
This new enemy - terrorists on our soil - won't stop because we don't want it to happen.
It will happen again.
My heart is broken.

This is not a time to run with emotions. We must stand strong. Talk of war must be tempered with reason.

This WILL happen again! Not with our planes made into human bombs as we are wise to that - now - and I fear to imagine how.

Most Americans don't know what it is to live with war, many have not lived through it. Israel lives it daily. Our government tells them to have restraint and negotiate,
and hold fast... Should we heed our own advice? Yes! But, damn the enemy! Our people are still being dug out of the rubble.

When Mrs. Clinton kissed Arafat's wife and proposed a Palestine nation, I wondered then what we, as a people, would think if the unthinkable happened. I will now
watch to see.

How many of us are willing to be killed or have our loved ones killed by that allowed evil?

We know our enemy's. Unless a truly decisive act on our part is taken against this enemy, they will not be stopped. Terror will horrify us again - on our soil
- and we will again, suffer.

America, fill your hearts with God. Pray. Take back traditional values. Watch for your enemy. Hug your children. Treasure life. Support our Leaders. Love your families, friends, including all those wonderful Internet friends, worldwide.

I will be back on track, with LOGON. No Thursday Quick E-News. Sunday's paid ads will be delivered. And, I have resolve, afresh, to fight harder for the rights of honest Internet businesses to not be attacked by those who would destroy their businesses trying to get what they call a spammer. Think about it - The so called spam haters kill your business and mine to get to their enemy - worldwide.
Remind you of anyone?
I will close now with this one thought that keeps coming to the top. When evil is allowed to operate in the name of freedom - evil will eventually prevail.

God be with you all. If you don't have a God, peace be with you...
Forgive my ramblings,
My heart is broken,

Bobbette Madonna

The National Anthem of the USA
The National Anthem of the USA
Written by:
Francis Scott Key
on September 14th,1814.

Oh, say, can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro' the perilous fight'
O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming.
And the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

On the shore dimly seen, thro' the mists of the deep,
Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,
In full glory reflected, now shines on the stream;
'Tis the star-spangled banner: oh, long may it wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion
A home and a country should leave us no more?
Their blood has wash'd out their foul footstep's pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave,
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Oh, thus be it ever when free men shall stand,
Between their loved homes and the war's desolation;
Blest with vict'ry and peace, may the heav'n-rescued land
Praise the Power that has made and preserved us as a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust";
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
.

Battle Hymn Of The Republic
Written by:
Julia Ward Howe

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord;
He is tramping out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored;
He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible quick sword:
His truth is marching on.

I have seen Him in the watch-fire of a hundred circling camps;
They have builded Him an altar in the evening dews and damps;
I have read His righteous sentence by the dim and flaring lamp:
His day is marching on.

I have read a fiery gospel writ in burnished rows of steel,
"As ye deal with my contemners, so with you my grace shall deal; Let the Hero, born of woman, crush the serpent with his heel,  Since God is marching on."

He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat;  He is sifting out the hearts of men before his judgment-seat;  O, be swift, my soul, to answer Him! be jubilant my feet:  Our God is marching on.

In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea, With a glory in His bosom that transfigures you and me;  As He Died to make men holy, let us die to make men free, While God is marching on.

(CHORUS)
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
His truth is marching on.
.....

This, too, shall pass away
From a poem By Lanta Wilson Smith

When some great sorrow, like a mighty river,
flows through your life with peace-destroying power,
and dearest things are swept from sight forever,
say to your heart each trying hour:
"This, too, shall pass away."

America The Beautiful....................................
America The Beautiful
Written by:  Katherine Lee Bates

O, beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountains majesties
Above the fruitful plain!
America! America!
God shed His grace on thee,
And crown the good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!

O, beautiful for pilgrim feet,
Whose stern, impassioned stress
A thoroughfare for freedom beat
Across the wilderness!
America! America!
God mend thine every flaw,
Confirm thy soul in self-control,
Thy liberty in law!

O, beautiful for heroes proved
In liberating strife,
Who more than self their country loved,
And mercy more than life!
America! America!
May God thy gold refine,
'Til all success be nobleness,
And every grain divine!

O, beautiful for patriot dream
That sees beyond the years
Thine alabaster cities gleam
Undimmed by human tears!
America! America!
God shed His grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!

God Bless the USA
God Bless the USA  by Lee Greenwood

If tomorrow all the things were gone I'd worked for all my life, And I had to start again with just my children and my wife. I'd thank my lucky stars to be livin' here today, 'cause the flag still stands for freedom and they can't take that away.

And I'm PROUD to be an American where as least I know I'm free. And I won't forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And I'd gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today. 'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land God bless the USA.

From the lakes of Minnesota, to the hills of Tennessee, across the plains of Texas, from sea to shining sea, From Detroit down to Houston and New York to LA. Well, there's pride in every American heart, and it's time to stand and say that

I'm PROUD to be an American where as least I know I'm free. And I won't forget the men who died, who gave that right to me. And I'd gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today.
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land God bless the USA.

"Beginning at 12 noon EDT, the plush Westin Hotel in Bostons'Back Bay has been surrounded by various LEOs. It has been reported that police have taken at least one person into custody in relation to yesterdays' terrorist activity," posts one member. "The hotel is now being evacuated as bomb sniffing dogs have detected explosive

the injured are the same person. Also, LEOs are at a Newton, MA. hotel, terrorist related."

A Sermon
Soon I will head out to my church to pray.
I hope you will be praying too.
Here's what I plan to say to my congregation.

Dark clouds roll across the cities of Washington and New York cause by the evil acts of cowerdly and unknown people.

The victims were janitors, secretaries, mid-level
executives, contruction workers, tourists, mom, dads, children--just everyday people like most of us.

The images of the plane's impact, the exlosions, and the collapsing trade center will be forever etched in our minds.

Years from now people will say, "Where were you when.."
Sadly, we will all remember.

About 10:00AM Tuesday morning I turned on the Radio as my wife and I began  home from Richmond, Virginia.
We were getting "oriented" about a mission trip to China my wife will be taking in October.

That's when we heard the NEWS!

For the next three hours we listened, wept, prayer, and even shouted in anger.  We listened to the unfolding
reports with horror and sadness.

I've since seen the pictures of what happened.
In a strange way the radio was more tense.

The descriptive comments and the quiver of emotion in the reporters voice caused us more shock and sorrow than the pictures ever could.

And the pictures were horrific.

I don't know about you, but I have friends in Washington, DC and New York City.  I pray for their safety and sanity.

Arriving home about 1:00PM, I take our kids out of school early. I hug them tightly--tighter than they have ever been hug before.  I weep a little more.

I plan a community memorial and prayer service in the church. I weep a little more.

I get word that my brother--a Sergeant in the Army,
stationed in Korea--is okay, but on high alert.  We know he's safe, but for how long?  I weep a little more.

Even now I hear that bombs are dropping in Afganistan.
I weep--and pray--even for these enemies, my enemies.

I know that God loves them--even if I can't right now.

Then I take a deep breath and wonder: "How should we respond in the face of such tragedy?"

I am drawn to the teachings of Jesus.

He is the one I believe to be Savior.
He is the one whom I follow as Lord.
Beyond that, I trust Him as my very Life.

In a time of such tremendous sorrow--surely to be followed in the days to come by frustration, fear, and immense anger --it is important that I turn to Jesus teachings to guide me.

It is important that I turn your thoughts to his words as well.

Here's what He said in His most famous address, commonly called: "The Sermon on the Mount!"

1. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be
comforted."

2. "Blessed are the merciful, for they will receive mercy."

3. "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God."

4. "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you."

5. "Strive first for the kingdom of God and his
righteousness."

6. "In everything do to others as you would have them do to you."

7. "Everyone ... who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who builds his house on rock."

These words of Jesus draw my heart closer and closer in this hour.

This is such a sinful and evil world.

This is a place where anger leads to more anger, where violence leads to more violence...where injustice produces more injustice...where vengeance illicits more vengeance.

I don't want to be caught up in that cycle.

I need His words to keep me steady.

I need His Spirit to break that cycle in me.

Without Him, you I could so easily become drawn into the cycle.

As I think about these words of Jesus, here's what I sense:

This is not a time for a Holy War. There is no time that is right for such an engagement.

This is not a time for quick and thoughtless retaliation strikes.

We must not demonize anyone based on their ethnic heritage.

We must not be too quick to move from our grief to action.

We must remember that what we have experienced for the first time has become a daily way of life for people in Israel,
Palestine, the Sudan, Northern Ireland, and many other places.
The fight to end terrorism must not stop once we are safe--but must continue until ALL PEOPLE everywhere are safe.

And when the time comes to use force to establish justice in this world, we must undertake that task resolutely and definatively--but with a sense of profound sadness.

There will never be anything about this event that should cause us to rejoice. This is now and will always be too tragic.

We must not abide in our presence the lies of prejudice that would attribute responsibility to whole groups of people based on their race, color, or religion.

In 1986 I visited Jordon, Syria, and Egypt--before going to Jerusalem.  While in Syria I visited a shop and purchase this plate--on which there is a picture of Jesus and His disciples.

I got it from the shop of a Muslim man named Amar.  He was a very sweet man, who invited me and my two friends to visit him home for dinner.

We were a little nervous--but went anyway.

We had no reason to fear.

This Muslim man was not a fanatic--he was a normal, decent human being who was trying to make a living and provide for his family.

We met his children, his wife, his brother, and his mother.
None of them were demons.

We must remember that the vast majority of people in the Middle East are good people--people just trying to get by.

The folks with the guns in the streets celebrating the
attack are a minority.

They just get the press cause they have the guns.

For now I know nothing more than to pray.

I pray for the survivors of this attack.

I pray for the families who have lost loved ones.

I pray for the rescue workers and police on the scene.

I pray for the doctors and nurses caring for the hurting.

I pray for the reporters who work through intense emotion to bring us the pictures and news of the day.

I pray for the President and other elected leaders who so desparately need wisdom from beyond themselves.

I pray for the pastors in Washington and New York who care first-hand for the spiritual needs of those who have experienced this great tragedy.

I pray for the military and intelligence agencies who seek to find out who would do this so they might be brought to justice.

I pray for those who did this--that they might be moved by God to repentance.

I pray for all those who might be tempted to think that violence accomplishes anything of lasting value.  We've seen much too much of it in recent years--from school violence,
to the Timothy McVey bombing, to drive by shooting.

I pray for our nation--that this event will bring us
together and turn our thoughts toward God.

Lastly, I pray for myself. May God break the cycle of violence in me and use me to make a difference for His Peace and Grace in this sinful world.

More Letters of Condolence
The past few days have kept me away from my lists. First, my good friend's father died of a heart attack.
Then, my parents-in-law were rear-ended in a collision. Now, terrorists attack innocent civilians in the United States. I hope you understand the delays as I grieve for all of them.

Sincerely,

I would like to express my sincere condolences to any of my cyber-friends and their families, who may have lost
loved ones in the Terrorist Attacks at the Pentagon in the US overnight.

The breaking news has rocked everyone in my family, as it has people across the world.

I hope your families and friends are safe and that the US President and his leaders will take the appropriate actions.

Let us all take a minute to say our prayers for those who left because of someone else's barbaric and inhumane deed.

May God bless one and all.

All members of our family are affected by the
terrorist attacks in the United States today, September 11. Some of our readers may have actually been present at the scenes of the attacks; others may have lost their lives and many lost loved ones. Most of us watched and listened from afar as these horrific events unfolded.

General Omar Bradley wrote this several decades ago: "Ours is a world of nuclear giants and ethical infants. We know more about war than we know about peace, more about killing than we know about living. We have grasped the mystery of the atom and rejected the Sermon on the Mount."
Today's attack on American civilians demonstrates again our world's intimate relationship with killing.

Good and decent people around the globe feel shocked and helpless in the face of such indiscriminant violence. We are in shock, but not completely helpless. Here are some suggestions on what you can do:

1. Remember, most persons of particular nationalities and religious or ethnic backgrounds are NOT in favor of attacks upon innocent men, women and children. Such atrocities come from extremist and radical groups.
Our anger, though justified, should not broadly target innocent civilians of nation or persons who simply happen to represent a certain religion or ethnicity.

2. This is a time to stick together, as a nation and as a world. All nations must work together to ensure that such atrocities never be allowed to occur again. This incident should usher in an unprecedented time of cooperation as we fight side by side against a common evil. We can dedicate ourselves to the cause of ridding the world of terrorism.

3. We can turn our anger and helplessness into constructive action. Give blood at a donation center close to you. Generously support disaster response groups with material donations and money. Some churches,
synagogues, mosques and other religious communities have disaster relief funds that are set up to receive
donations for this emergency. Those of faith should also pray for those who lost loved ones, those who are missing and wounded and those who labor to rescue and comfort victims. Pray also for victims and perpetrators of violence throughout the world.

4. All Americans (and others) who are stunned by today's attack should find time to grieve. Consider attending a service at your community of faith to help put the day's events and aftermath in perspective as you grieve for and with families and friends of victims.

5. War, whether it be a conventional war or act of terrorism, is abhorrent to the human family. In the long term, you can channel your anger and concern into constructive support of organizations dedicated to global peace, including the eradication of terrorism, and to groups that give aid to victims of violence and war.

6. Rededicate yourself to loving others. Life is short -- cherish every moment of it.

America will never be the same again. September 11, 2001 will forever be remembered as a defining moment in our history. But let the history books record it also as a time of unparalleled cohesiveness as nations unite to comfort a country in grief and to commit together to rid our planet of the scourge of terrorism. May God grant us wisdom this pivotal day, comfort as we grieve and healing as we move ahead together.

Because of our technological, economic, and military strength we are often called upon to protect and defend those whose ideals we embrace.  And we are always there to assist those nations and their peoples in times of need.

Yesterday was a sad day for all Americans.  A day we should all remember as a day we paid a heavy price in our role as a world peace keeper.
We hope you and yours are safe, and our heart and prayers go out to all who have suffered pain and loss.

Dear WebProNews Subscribers,
Yesterday, people fighting a meaningless fight attacked America. The point seems to be death and destruction and nothing else. Apparently, these individuals are willing to die to advance the political agendas of leaders who hide in cowardice. I would ask; if this type of senseless death and destruction is a path to Allah or the afterlife, as they have been lead to believe, why then do their leaders hide from it?

These individuals have awakened the democracies of this world and they will be sorry. As the President of the United States said,
"We will make no distinction between the terrorists who committed these acts, and those who harbor them." I am confident that those responsible and their allies will soon realize what a foolish and terrible mistake they have made. These acts will not go unpunished.

As iEntry's publisher, with newsletters going to over 4 million business professionals around the World, I want you to know that America is continuing business as usual, but with a seething anger and outrage towards these enemies of freedom and their allies who dance in the streets with them. All those responsible for the senseless deaths of innocent civilian men, women and children will be held accountable and justice will be served.

In the meantime, I would like to express our deepest sympathies to the families and friends of those lost in yesterday’s tragic events. We have suffered a tremendous loss as both a nation and a society, but we will persevere.

I am devastated, in shock and completely depressed at the carnage and unbelievable events that have taken place over the last 36 hours.
I have spent all day in disbelief watching the horrible events that took place at The World Trade Centre, Pittsburgh and The Pentagon.
There are NO WORDS that can express my deepest sympathy and sorrow.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the souls affected by this tragedy.
All civilized people are appalled and horrified by the unfolding tragedy in New York, Washington and elsewhere.

If you, a loved one, or anyone you know was affected by this terrible tragedy, I want to let you know that my heart goes out to you.
Your loss is felt by everyone in the world, and you are not alone.

We here in Scotland offer our deepest sorrow,  we are shocked at the brutality of this cowardly sneak attack on helpless people in the USA.

I hope that the people who are responsible are punished accordingly.
God Bless America!

Yesterday the unthinkable happened!  As shock turns to pain, and dismay to strength, and our fear turns to courage, I felt compelled to write to each member of the FreeLotto family.  First off, thank you to each of the thousands who wrote to us; concerned about our safety and sharing the pain all civlized people are feeling today.  The staff of
FreeLotto was indeed fortunate, as one of the hijacked jets passed directly over our office building seconds before hitting it's target.
Fortunately, our families were also unharmed - physically at least. All New Yorkers, and indeed all people of the world lost life yesterday.

Emotionally, we are all still in a state of shock.  The pain is not yet fully felt.  Yet through the shock, big and small acts of heroism define who we are.  Those incredibly brave rescue workers who are risking it all to save others, and the millions who waited in line to donate blood, are a model for us all.  The Red Cross volunteers who are always there in times of tragedy are so uplifting.

And yet, will we ever relinquish the vision of burning victims leaping hand in hand from 1000 feet in the air?  Do we even know how to properly honor these tens of thousands of heroic martyrs and their families?  How will we even begin to heal?

My late father, Stan Aronin was the Superintendent Engineer in charge of the construction of the foundation of those glorious New York landmarks.  Those towers were his engineering legacy.  Now, they too are gone.  I feel a special pain because of that.  It took five years and thousands of craftsmen to build that Eighth Wonder of the World - and only seconds for these evil criminals to destroy it.

After Pearl Harbor, Franklin Roosevelt said, "We have nothing to fear, but fear itself."  This applies to these acts of terrorism as well.  We must demonstrate that we are not afraid of a few inhuman cowards hiding in the mountains in Afghanistan.  We must stand as one in full support
of our President.  Indeed, the civilized world must stand as one against this most common of enemies.

President Bush must make his Peace with the Creator, and then rain the fires of Hell on those who perpetrated this most heinous crime against humanity.  This is not a religious issue.  Christians, Muslims, Jews, members of every faith and citizens of every nation must stand
together, or they will fall alone!

AS A SYMBOL OF SOLIDARITY I ASK THAT YOU WEAR A RED ARM BAND.  LET THE
WHOLE WORLD KNOW THAT YOU WILL NOT BE TERRORIZED.  ASK ALL OF YOUR
FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO DO THE SAME.  WE WILL NOT LET A FEW COWARDS STEAL
OUR FREEDOM.

Our Leaders, and our Armed Forces will deliver painful retribution on these cowards.  We must also do our part by showing solidarity and restoring normalcy to our lives.  Finally, FreeLotto is donating $5000.00 to the New York Chapter of the American Red Cross, World Trade
Center Disaster Fund.

Please join us and your 21,000,000 fellow FreeLotto members to help the Red Cross help the victims and their families.

To let President Bush know that you support his leadership in this crisis, send him an email at:

Yesterday was a very sad day for all Americans.
I know that this is a day that I will never forget,
and either will you.

We hope all of our friends, business associates, and
their families are safe. Our heart and prayers are
with those of you who have been directly affected by
this terrorist attack.

Warmly,
